Touhid Alam is the person behind SavingsRush.com — a site built with one thing in mind: saving people from wasting time on expired or fake coupons. He’s not from a marketing agency or anything like that. He’s a developer first — and someone who got tired of clicking promo codes that just didn’t work.

Originally from Bangladesh, Touhid has spent years working in tech. He didn’t start out thinking he’d run a coupon platform. Early on, he was building things like hospital systems, VAT solutions, and HR software — mostly using .NET, Angular, PostgreSQL, that sort of stack. It was deep, backend-heavy work. But over time, his focus shifted. He got into affiliate marketing, SEO, and started thinking more about how people actually use the web — not just how it’s built.

That’s how SavingsRush was born. He noticed how messy most coupon sites were — slow pages, bad links, pop-ups everywhere. So he decided to create something faster, simpler. Something honest.

These days, he does a bit of everything for the site. Writes code, checks deals, tweaks SEO, reviews UX — whatever’s needed. He’s not managing a big team or outsourcing work. Most of it goes through him.

He occasionally posts stuff on touhidalam.com — not regularly, but when he has something worth sharing. Usually tips on development, maybe something about fixing a bug, or just thoughts on building products that don’t suck.
